We are so excited to have you join us for a weekend at Westwind!
Westwind is extremely special, and we can’t wait to share it with you. This will definitely be an unusual weekend; very little ceremony, some communal effort, and lots of time outside. Our guest list is very small, and we’re excited for everyone to get to know each other. We can’t wait to spend the weekend hiking in the forest and jumping in the Pacific with you all!
Weekend Schedule
Friday October 10, 2025
1:00 pm - Bus on site at PDX airport. Pickup at lower deck, outside of baggage claim. See map on Travel page.
1:30 pm - Bus departs PDX, join Kate and Hugh on the bus to camp!
3:30 pm - Bus arrival at Camp Westwind gates
4:00 pm - Hike into camp begins for bus campers
4:30 pm - If you’re driving yourself, please arrive at the Westwind gate at 4:30 pm for a later hike start time (we can’t have hikers and drivers on the road at the same time)
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm - Camp arrival! Check in at Wilson Lodge to receive cabin assignments and all weekend information
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm - Dinner at Wilson Lodge, casual attire
9:30 pm - Meet in Wilson Lodge for night tidepooling! There will be a -0.9 ft low tide at 10:20 pm, which is perfect for exploring Westwind’s secret beaches and coves. Dress warmly and wear shoes that can get wet. Of course, all activities are optional, so feel free to hang around camp or just head to bed.
Saturday October 11, 2025
7:00 am - Coffee and tea available in Wilson for early risers
8:00 - 9:00 am - Breakfast, buffet style. Join us in Wilson Lodge whenever
9:30 am - 11:00 am - Join us for a hike on the Westwind trails! All activities are entirely optional so if hiking is not your thing, or you’d rather hang around camp, no problem
11:00 am - 12:00 pm - Rest from hike / clean up for lunch. Westwind camp store open
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch, Wilson Lodge
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Free time/wedding prep! Explore camp, walk on the beach, check out the river, help set up for festivities, get dressed, or just take a nap
4:00 pm - Meet at Wilson lodge for ceremony. We’ll all walk to the beach together. Camp formal attire - we’ll be dressed up, but reminder that there will be a short walk to the beach.
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm - Cocktail hour at Wilson Lodge patio
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm - Dinner in Wilson Lodge
9:00 pm - ?? - Beach bonfire + s’mores + drinks + music on the beach! Feel free to change into warmer/comfier clothes
Sunday October 12, 2025
7:00 am - Coffee and tea available in Wilson for early risers
8:00 am - 9:00 am - Breakfast, buffet style. Join whenever
9:00 am - 10:30 am - Pack up and camp clean out based on cabin
*we’ll have brown bag lunches for everyone to take for the drive home so grab these in Wilson Lodge before you hike out!*
10:30 am - 11:30 am - Hike out
12:15 pm - Bus departs from Cascade Head Interpretative Wayside to PDX
2:30 pm - Bus arrival at PDX
